A maid from the Philippines was arrested on Monday for alleged abuse of a young boy in Kowloon.
When the boy’s 36-year-old mother, surnamed Fan, returned home at 10pm to Tak Ku Ling Road in Kowloon City, she found her five-year-old son had a red and swollen mark on his face, Apple Daily reported.
The woman checked footage from surveillance cameras installed at her home and found the maid, aged 34, allegedly struck her son at 4pm.
The woman reported the case to the police and sent her son to hospital for a checkup.
Police arrested the maid for suspected child abuse, Oriental Daily reported. Officers of the criminal squad at Kowloon City district are following up the case.

Children would kick,punch throwing objects to the maids too…and some employer do too…

Hindi yan abuse, nasa right age ka para sawayin, turuan ang bata…u got a right decision na nag break contract ko.
Kahit saan tignan mali ..maling mali na sasaktan ang bata, sabihin pang salbahe or sinasaktan ang mas matanda kasi pwede nmang turuan or sawayin, pag sabihan ..wag lang sasaktan…pag sisihan nya yan…kasalanan nya.????????????
That is not abuse if the child hits u.. he is ignorant of the fact that he should not be doing it or his parents are not training him properly. U can choose to break contract in that case. It’s not abuse unless it’s like molestation or something .. But yes, if the helper abuses, it definitely done in full consciousness, which needs to be informed to police. Helpers can’t take advantage of every situation , which seems to be so in most of the cases..just because law has clauses to protect them.

We an adult specially helper or not helper don’t have right to hurt kids. They are kids we are adult. Our age are different of their age so we NEED TO DO WHAT EXACTLY RIGHT TO DO. ….NOT TO HURT A KID.

You have the right to call the police with the clue to show them
Then how about if the case is children abuse the maid. I experienced also physical abuse by a young boy, he shout at me kick me, hit me etc ????.
