A video has gone viral on social media showing a blue Ferrari overtaking vehicles at high speed and then crashing into roadside signs in Aberdeen on Hong Kong Island on Thursday.

At around 2pm, a 36-year-old man was driving the sports car, which is worth about HK$5 million (nearly US$640,000), on Aberdeen Reservoir Road, Apple Daily reported. The video, which was taken by the driver of a commercial van, showed that the Ferrari went uphill and passed the van and a taxi at high speed before crashing into three roadside signs while attempting to make a right turn on to Yue Kwong Road.
