Police are hunting for three men and a woman after two local men were attacked in Sham Shui Po in Kowloon on Tuesday.
At 2am, a 45-year-old man surnamed Ma and a 54-year-old man surnamed Lo were chatting in a park at the intersection of Cheung Sha Wan Road and Nan Cheong Street in Sham Shui Po when four people, described as South Asian, approached them, Oriental Daily reported.
The two men and the other group got into a quarrel, then a physical fight broke out. The woman suddenly slapped Ma several times – with his nose injured and bleeding, he fell to the ground.
The elder man, Lo, called the police immediately. But by the time they arrived the woman and her three colleagues had fled.
Ma was sent to hospital for medical treatment.
Officers from Sham Shui Po classed the case as assault. They are reviewing surveillance camera footage in their hunt for the woman and her three associates.
