Two porters were injured when Pakistani troops allegedly violated the ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch on Thursday by firing small-arms and automatic weapons, PTI reported.

The two were taken to a nearby hospital.

A senior army official told PTI, “Pakistan Army initiated unprovoked and indiscriminate firing of small-arms and automatic weapons from 11.45 hours in Poonch sector along the Line of Control.” He added that the Indian army retaliated.
