Two men suspected of having links to terrorist group al Qaeda were arrested in New Delhi on Thursday in separate cases, PTI reported.
In the first case, Syed Mohammed Zishan Ali was brought back from Saudi Arabia and arrested by the Delhi Police’s Special Cell, the report said.
In the second case, Delhi police arrested Raza Ul Ahmed, who has been handed over to West Bengal police, which had filed a case against him. Ahmed is a member of the Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT), which is allegedly affiliated with al Qaeda. He is allegedly involved in the fake currency racket.
