The official website of the government of Pakistan was reportedly hacked for a brief period on August 3 by anonymous hackers who posted the Indian national anthem and Independence Day greetings, PTI reported.

The website displayed the message “Hacked by Ne0-h4ck3r” at 3 pm Indian Standard Time, the report said, adding that the site also displayed the Independence Day greeting “15 August, Happy Independence Day.”

There was no official response from the Foreign Office in Islamabad and the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi.
