A Mumbai man who allegedly raped his 12-year-old daughter over a 15-month period has been arrested, according to media reports.
Police said the Central Railway worker committed the crime when his wife was away and told the girl not tell anyone. The victim, however, confided to her mother a week back ago when he was away and she lodged a police complaint.
A case was registered under section 376 and 377 of the Indian Penal Code and the POCSO Act 2012.
