A 26-year-old doctor was found dead with his throat slit at St Stephen’s Hospital in north Delhi on Friday, according to media reports.
It is believed that Sashwat Pandey, a radiology intern, was killed by one of his colleagues. His body was found in the doctors’ break room in the x-ray department.
A police officer told PTI, “His throat was slit with a surgical blade. As per the preliminary investigation, the suspect appears to be a fellow doctor and an acquaintance of the deceased.”
A case has been registered and his body has been sent for post-mortem examination.
