A 22-year-old Filipino was sent to hospital after she lost consciousness and collapsed near Repulse Bay on southern Hong Kong Island on Monday morning.
At 6am after an overnight chat and drinks on the beach with a 25-year-old female friend, the woman was walking along the shore by herself when she suddenly collapsed, Oriental Daily reported. As she was very close to the water, others at the beach thought she had drowned, so they called the police.
When police and firemen arrived, they found that the woman had not drowned but was only drunk.
The woman later regained consciousness and was sent to Ruttonjee Hospital, Sing Tao Daily reported. She was given a clean bill of health after some medical checks.
