A 21-year-old woman who had been studying at the City University of Hong Kong jumped to her death from a high-rise dormitory in Kowloon on Tuesday evening. 

At 11:40pm, the student, of South Korean origin but the holder of a Hong Kong Identity Card, jumped from a high floor of the dorm on Cornwall Street in Kowloon Tong, HK01.com reported.

She was found unconscious with severe injuries on the lawn. Accompanied by university staff, she was sent to the Caritas Medical Centre, where she was pronounced dead, Oriental Daily reported. 

Police did not find a suicide note and were trying to contact the woman’s family for more information.
