Fueling ongoing speculation about a possible career move, superstar Rajinikanth said he was meeting with his well-wishers and a few politicians to talk about his political ambitions, according to media reports.
However, the actor refused to say when – or if – he would make such a move. Rajinikanth was quoted as saying, “If it so happens, I will answer your questions then.”
He is currently shooting his upcoming movie Kaala, which is set in Mumbai and directed by Pa Ranjith.
The actor recently generated excitement when he met with the leaders of the Hindu Makkal Katchi (Hindu People’s Party) at his Poes Garden residence.
He said: “I am holding discussions over entering politics. I have not taken a decision yet. When I decide, I will tell you.”
