With little new economic data coming out, Wall Street is waiting on word today from Fed policy makers.

Boston Fed President Eric Rosengren is speaking at a conference in Amsterdam today, where he is expected to shed light on policy makers take on the US economy. At the same event Fed Vice Chairman Stanley Fischer earlier today warned that more needs to be done to strengthen the housing finance system of the US and other countries to avoid a crisis.

Dallas Fed president Robert Kaplan is expected talk about what implications the changing US economic situation has for monetary policy at an event in San Francisco later today.
