A Gurgaon man was arrested for allegedly groping a woman multiple times on a Delhi-Mumbai flight, according to media reports.
The suspect, Mohit Kanwar, 31, was seated next to the woman, a lawyer, when police say he touched her with his left hand and left leg. After she asked him to sit properly, he touched her again, this time with his arm. When the woman complained to a flight attendant, she was assigned another seat. When she got up to move, she said Kanwar asked her: “You do not like to be touched?”
Sahar Police and Central Industrial Security Force were alerted by the pilot when the plane landed in Mumbai. Kanwar was booked under Section 354 (molestation) of the Indian Penal Code.
