A group of young people banded together to form Hong Kong Exploration, or HK Urbex, whose mission is to “photograph and immortalize abandoned sites” across the city and Asia.

Founded in January 2013, they describe themselves as a “motley crew of explorers and content creators” on the group’s website.

They unearth and document long-forgotten spaces in Hong Kong and Asia through videos and still images.
