U.S. judge blocks Trump administration’s ban on new TikTok downloads

Officials in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania are all vying to have Foxconn build a huge $7 billion plant in their state that will make parts for Apple iPhones and employ up to 50,000 US workers, says a report in China Daily.

All three of the states were won by Donald Trump in the November US presidential election. Taiwan-based Foxconn is expected to churn out iPhone displays at the US facility if it is built.
