Capital Link International chief strategist Uwe Parpart discusses M&A in China and the government’s crackdown on overseas deals.
Parpart was supportive of the change in policy and believes it will generate positive reactions from overseas investors.
“They have to look at whether or not these bank portfolios satisfy risk standards,” he said. “I think it’s a good thing. Foreign investors should be very encouraged that China’s actually doing this.”
