Eleven people between the ages of 19 and 42 were arrested by police in a drug raid in Yau Ma Tei on Monday night.
At 8pm, a 37-year-old Hong Kong man surnamed Cheung was arrested in an apartment at 328-342A Nathan Road for allegedly operating a drug den and selling illicit substances, Apple Daily reported.
Kowloon police also took another six men and four women into custody for suspected drug possession. The arrested included a foreign woman.
Officers found what they suspect to be 23 grams of cocaine, a small amount of methamphetamine or ice – and five pipes used to smoke the substance – two sets of digital scales, and assorted packaging tools in the apartment.
Citing an initial investigation, police believe the drug den was run by a triad group, Oriental Daily reported.
