A 25-year-old Pakistani man was arrested early on Sunday morning after being accused of raping a Hong Kong woman, who had been drinking alone in the bar precinct of Lan Kwai Fong, Central district, on Hong Kong Island a day earlier.
The man, who has a HKID card, approached the woman, 30, at a bar in the early hours of Saturday and bought her several rounds of drinks, Sing Tao Daily reported. He offered to escort the woman home, but then took her to a love hotel, which charges hourly rates, on Lockhart Road, Wan Chai.
When the woman woke up, she found that she had been raped. At noon on Saturday, she called the police and was still emotionally distraught when officers arrived. She was sent to hospital, Oriental Daily reported.
After checking closed-circuit television footage, officers identified a suspect and arrested a Pakistani man in Lan Kwai Fong on Sunday morning.

Jezreel Oliver Linda is right. The woman is 30, the guy is 25. She is older and should be wiser. Why blame the guy if she has a drinking problem? It’s only rape if the guy forced himself, not if the woman couldn’t control her drinking and regrets her own actions. I’m going to find a Men’s Rights Activism because this is unjust.
