The owner of a HK$2.7 million (US$346,484) white Lamborghini was lucky to escape after his car caught a fire while he was driving along Kwun Tong Road in Ngau Tau Kok on Thursday afternoon.

At 2.15pm, the 38-year-old driver stopped his Lamborghini Gallardo coupe and got out after he saw smoke coming out from the back of the car, Oriental Daily reported.

Tang tried to put out the fire with an extinguisher, however, the blaze was too strong.
