A Hong Kong man was stabbed in broad daylight in Tai Hing Estate, in the Tuen Mun area of Hong Kong’s New Territories, on Sunday afternoon.
At 4pm, a 22-year-old Hong Kong man, surnamed Leung and described by police as a suspected triad member, was spotted being approached by three men, who then slashed his head, arms and legs. The three jumped in a car and attempted to hit the injured man but missed, before driving off, Apple Daily reports.
As shown by a video filmed by a passer-by, Leung – who has blonde hair and tattoos and wore black – was severely injured but tried to get on his feet. Passers-by advised him to lie down. He was then sent to Tuen Mun Hospital for treatment.

Preliminary police investigations indicate Leung could be the victim of an internal triad dispute. The attack was registered as a case of assault.
Separately, at 8pm, a car was reported to have been set fire to on Yick Yuen Road, in Tin Shui Wai. The case is being treated as arson and police are investigating whether the two cases are linked, according to Sing Pao.
