The body of an 80-year-old man was found by a female hiker in Tseung Kwan O in Hong Kong’s New Territories East on Tuesday afternoon.
At about 2pm, a foreign woman saw the man’s body in the catchwater of a slope on Wan Po Raod near Oscar by the Sea, Sing Pao reported. She called the police, who said they believed the dead person was a man surnamed Tam, who had not seen for two weeks.
Tam was last seen at 4am on April 18 as he left his home in Sau Mau Ping in Kowloon alone, HK01.com reported. On the same day, his family reported him missing. He had been diagnosed with hypertension and Alzheimer’s disease.
Police believed that the man had died several days ago. They are investigating the case.
