A 30-year-old Filipina plunged to her death from the seventh floor of a residential building on 179 Tung Choi Street, Mong Kok, on Wednesday night.
At around 10pm, the Filipina, who had a temporary permit to stay in the city, fell from the window and landed on a canopy on the second floor of the same building, Oriental Daily reported.
A Pakistani man who was identified as her boyfriend rushed to the scene. She was then rushed to Kwong Wah Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
The police have ruled out foul play. Apple Daily reports that according to their preliminary investigation, the woman fell from height to her death while cleaning windows at the unit.

The employer should held responsible for it.This what we are calling the Hong Kong Government’s policy about window cleaning, ‘the employer or any person who did not follow the law should held liable.In Singapore there’s a law about window cleaning, if the employer did not comply with the law,the punishment is either penalty of cash ,in prison or both So if Singapore can do it ,why not in Hong Kong. JUSTICE TO THE VICTIM !
