A leaked report of the first meeting between the Brexit negotiation parties has led to accusations that European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker is intentionally sabotaging the process.

“This was senseless, it will poison the talks,” the Financial Times quoted one source involved with negotiations as saying.

British officials reportedly suspect President Juncker or his chief of staff Martin Selmayr was behind the leaks, which included a remark from Junker that “Brexit cannot be a success.”
