Hong Kong Customs and Excise drugs unit arrested a woman carrying 2.1 kilograms of cocaine with a street value of about HK$1.93 million (US$247,835) in cereal and milk powder containers.

At 8pm on Monday, a team of the Customs Drug Investigation Bureau intercepted a target, identified as a 31-year-old Indonesian woman, at an intersection between Cheong Lok Street and Nathan Road in Yau Ma Tei, Sing Tao Daily reported.

According to a preliminary investigation, the suspect had been working as a domestic helper and had overstayed her visa. A search of her home in a subdivided apartment in Tsim Sha Tsui found no other drugs.
