Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China and Moscow-based United Aircraft Corp have announced their official entry into the Shanghai Commercial Register on Monday, reports Reuters Germany.
The step comes after the unveiling last November of model for a wide-bodied long-haul jetliner to compete with the Airbus 350 and Boeing 787. Under the cooperative agreement signed in 2014, the aircraft will be developed in Russia and assembled in China.
The maiden flight for the aircraft is planned for as early as 2025.
