A total of 30 people, including three locals identified as pimps, were arrested when a prostitution ring was busted in a two-day raid on four sex dens in Wan Chai.
Police and immigration officers swooped on the four sex dens in a two-day operation on Wednesday and Thursday.
Three Hong Kong residents, two men and a woman aged 27 to 39, were arrested in a nightclub for managing the sex dens, Oriental Daily reported.
Of the prostitutes arrested, 25 were Chinese women aged 21 to 35 from mainland China and Taiwan, and two Russians, who breached their visa conditions. All of the people arrested have been detained and are assisting police with their investigation.
An Apple Daily report said alcohol, mouthwash, towels and lubricants were also seized.
