Three apparently drunk men were arrested after fighting in a McDonald’s restaurant in the Hong Kong tourist urban area of Tsim Sha Tsui early Friday morning.
Two foreigners beat up the Hong Kong man after they quarreled when ordering food at 4am in a 24-hour McDonald’s outlet at 184 Nathan Road, in southern Kowloon, Oriental Daily reported. The foreigners started a fight and the local man injured his head.
All three men seem to be drunk, Apple Daily reported, citing witnesses. The restaurant staff called the police, who arrested the trio on suspicion of having an unlawful fight in a public place.
The maximum penalty is a HK$5,000 (US$643) fine and 12-month jail sentence.
