A domestic helper and two of her employer’s children, aged 3 and 4, escaped uninjured after a fire broke out in a public housing flat in Siu Sai Wan Estate in Hong Kong Island East.
At around 1pm on Saturday, the maid saw smoke coming from the employer’s locked bedroom in a flat on the fourth floor of Sui Lok House after the mother had left for the annual ritual of tomb-sweeping, Sing Tao Daily reported.
After she called for help, neighbors rang the police and the maid escaped with the children unharmed. Firemen arrived and put out the fire within 10 minutes. The fire started after a switch short circuited inside the bedroom, Oriental Daily reported, citing an initial investigation.
The police did not disclose the nationality of the domestic worker but a resident captured of a picture of her.

what is the name..so silly why it’s hard for you to write the name of the helper if she did good but if she eat food, because she is hungry but accused by employer of steeling, the full name is written.
hay nako tuwang tuwa cla at safe cla pro ni hindi man lang ipakilala kong cno…
Hmmmm when something good happened you don’t published the nationality and the name..
While if it is something to be ashamed and can ruined someone reputation you disclosed it.
this info or your news it’s not complete it’s a good news for helper that make heroes but while others news like eating meatballs only a helper is complete information…they not accept the reality bec they always good. lol….. good job!
im proud of her whoever she is;)…

No nationality coz helper save the kids… if the helper didnt help the kids front page in the newspaper with nationality in it…
Haha so that’s because the helper did the good job , it’s not important to know her name, nationality and to say a simple thank you.? But the meatballs incident all complete details of the helper published. Oh come on.
Ayaw nilang masapawan,….D nla matanggap na ang mga DH esp. Pinoy/Pinay are smart people.

If the d.h.do good keep in public but if do wrong even so small it sa big deal and crime so biased
You’re right..they should give the complete details….
If we did heroism you never mention full name and what nationality,if we made one small mistake complete details being published…so biased !
Discrimination always insest..
Bkit di sinabi ang name ng hero? Nkalocked pa kwarto, wala tiwala sa helper. Malaki tuloy nawala sau. Hmmmmp!
Sa tingin ko po pinay ang hero
Tseee bat ayao sabihin ang name ng helper or where she came from…. tong mga tsekwa pag me nagawa ang helper kahit kunting mali balita agad even on tv, ung kumain lang ng meatballs ng amo, naka published agad samantalang diniduct na niya sa salary ng katulong…. mga feel matalino eh
If it’s Good deeds you never mention the complete details, but if it’s crime, like eating meatballs, complete details.
