Dedicated lovers of spicy food will attest to the virtues of this chili chicken dish served at many Indian restaurants. The mouth-watering combination of fresh and dried peppers triggers something in the brain that keeps chili heroes coming back for more.
We recommend enjoying this dish with plain rice or naan bread, together with an iced drink or a cold beer.

Ingredients
2-3 tbsp cornflour
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp ground black pepper
1 tbsp chili powder
5 red dried chili peppers
5 garlic
5 green chili peppers
1 green bell peppers
1/4 celery stalk
1/2 carrot
1/2 onion
1 sliced red chili pepper
4 tbsp red chili sauce
Coriander and spring onion
Oil and salt

Method
Marinate the chicken pieces with the cornflour, salt, ground black pepper and red chili powder
Add water, mix well and set aside for 10-15 minutes
Fry the chicken pieces for 2-3 minutes and set aside
Heat oil in a pan and add red dried chili, garlic and green chili
Add bell pepper, celery, carrot and onion
Add salt, ground black pepper, sliced red chili, red chili sauce, coriander and spring onion
Add the fried chicken, mix well and serve
