A 16-year-old Pakistani was arrested by Hong Kong police on Tuesday evening in connection with at least three indecent assaults last month in the Kowloon districts of Yau Ma Tei and Jordan.
The jobless teenager, who moved to Hong Kong to be reunited with his family in 2015, was caught in a park on Saigon Street by the police, after they had analyzed some closed-circuit television footage, Apple Daily reported.
At 1.45am on February 19, a 28-year-old lady had her bottom touched on Man Ying Street. Fifty minutes later, a 25-year-old woman suffered a similar attack on Bowring Street.
At 1.35am the following day, a 22-year-old woman was indecently assaulted in the King George V Memorial Park.
Police believed that the three victims were attacked by the same man, who was a bearded South Asian targeting young women wearing tight pants. They arrested the suspect on Tuesday, who admitted his crime, Sing Tao Daily reported.
