Finding hidden gems in Hong Kong can be as easy as stumbling on a rock or as hard as finding a needle in a haystack. If one is willing to go a little farther than Central then this gem, Swing a Cat, is worth a trip to the dark side in To Kwa Wan.
Swing a Cat is a studio/gallery/workshop run by a husband and wife team — Cat Tai and Stephen Case. They offer kids’ arts and craft classes, caricature classes and different workshops hosted by various talents.
It also provides venue rental for events such as exhibitions, book launches, talks and more.
The gallery launched with a Cases Faces exhibition of Stephen’s body of work. Can you guess who these people are?
Swing a Cat can be found at 241 Rear Shop, To Kwa Wan Rd, To Kwa Wan. Open 3pm-8pm Wednesday to Sunday and these images will be on the wall till Sunday, April 23.
