Holi moly! It's that time of year again: India's festival of colors is a photographer's dream. Here's our pick of the best from Reuters (and one of our own).

Hindus in India and Nepal celebrated the Holi festival on Monday, marking the advent of spring and celebrated as a thanksgiving for a good harvest.

Armed with gulal (colored powder), water guns and balloons. They chased each other around streets, parks … anywhere where they could plaster a strangers and friends alike with the trademark paste of vibrant colors and water. Even those not celebrating the festival were given a color coating. No one complained as everyone was familiar with the saying bura na mano, Holi hai  — Don’t be offended, it’s Holi!
