China is winning this Paralympic Games hands down.
After competition ended in Rio on Tuesday, China had as many as 147 medals in its kitty. That included 63 golds. The next closest country in the medals tally, the United Kingdom had 75 medals in all. Ukraine came third with 72 medals, closely followed by the United States (61).
China had topped the medal board in the last three Summer Paralympics, beginning at the 2004 Athens Games.
This year, China sent more than 300 athletes to Rio and this medal haul was expected. India scored just four in the medals tally.
