Pankaj Advani, Sourav Kothari and Ishpreet Singh Chadha will represent India in the World 6-Red Snooker Championship that will be held at Bangkok, Thailand, from September 5 to 10.

Thailand’s Thepchaiya Un-nooh will be defending the crown at the tournament. Un-nooh conquered China’s Liang Wenbo (8-2) in the final last year to bag his first professional title.

Chadha has been placed in Group A, Advani in Group C and Kothari in Group F in the preliminary stage of the tournament, in which 48 cueists from 16 countries would take part, PTI reported. Advani is to open his group campaign against China’s Ding Junhui on September 5, Kothari will face Michael White of Wales, while Chadha will take on Mark Davis of England in their respective first group matches.

Earlier this year, Pankaj Advani clinched the Asian 6-Red snooker title.
