Xiaomi has announced a smart home product in China, an autonomous Mi Robot Vacuum that can keep your home spick and span.

Xiaomi’s cleaning bot claims to have a higher suction rating (1,800 Pa) than the likes of iRobot’s Roomba 980 (1,670 Pa) or Neato’s Botvac D8500 (1,000 Pa). But Xiaomi is selling this for just 1,699 yuan or about $250, against the $900 Roomba. It will be available starting September 6 in China.

Mi Robot Vacuum has two rotating side brushes that push the dirt toward the main cylindrical brush. It can adjust its height with the floor to optimize dirt suction. It has 12 sensors, including a wall sensor, a dust bin sensor, an ultrasonic radar sensor, a cliff sensor, gyroscope and accelerometer. Its Laser Distance Sensor can scan its surroundings across 360 degrees 1,800 times per second.
