In Episodes 11 and 12 of “Uncontrollably Fond” that are slated to be broadcast on August 1o and 11, respectively, actors Ryu Seung-soo and Yoon Park will be making special appearances and play crucial roles.
Stills of their cameos are out and the drama is also gaining popularity in China.
According to Soompi, Ryu Seung-soo will play Cha Taek-joong, a lawyer who holds the “key to the secret.” Viewers are curious about how his character will spin the plot line of the drama, it reported. Yoon Park will play Seo Yoon-hoo, a hallyu star who has a bit of tension with Shin Joon-young (Kim Woo-bin).
Meanwhile, Yibada reported that the drama has gained the interest of Chinese fans. The KBS series has reached more than 700 million online views, it reported. Chinese viewers watch the drama through Youku, an online video sharing site. Production officials shared that the KBS drama has already reached a viewership level of 776 million views, Yonhap reported.
“Uncontrollably Fond” was entirely pre-filmed and is being broadcast simultaneously in South Korea and China. It revolves around the love story of Shin Joon-young, played by Kim Woo-bin, and No Eul played by Bae Suzy.
