“Doctors” star Park Shin-hye has a new nickname now: Action Queen.
She has practiced her kicks so hard that she didn’t even need a stunt double for her role in the new SBS drama “Doctors” which started two weeks back and became an instant hit. It has been reigning the viewership charts since then.
In this Monday-Tuesday medical-themed romantic drama, Park Shin-hye plays the role of Yoo Hye-jung, alongside Kim Rae-won, whose character is Hong Ji-hong. “Doctors” crew members have praised her hard work. SBS has also revealed behind-the-scenes stills of the actress showing how she’s sweating it out on the drama sets.
There is an emotional outbreak between Park and Kim when they meet after 13 years. And, they engage in a boxing duel.

According to picture leaks, Park Shin-hye practices her kicks with her smooth fighting stance, after which she still cheerfully continues filming with no signs of exhaustion, Soompi reported.
A member of the “Doctors” production crew praises the actress and says, “Park Shin-hye, who may already be well-known for her versatility, filmed her action scenes without a stunt double. Her absorption into the character is admirable. Her affection and sense of responsibility for her role shows just what a professional and strong actress she is.”
So far, their boxing match has been the most-watched “Doctors” scene.

While whether Park Shin-hye and Kim Rae-won will attain the Song Joong-Ki and Song Hye-kyo fame remains a question, another highly anticipated drama “Uncontrollably Fond” is releasing on Wednesday.
Both will vie for the top slot.
