After the grand success of “Descendants of the Sun” gave him the star-status, South Korean actor Song Joong-ki went on a months-long Asian tour to ecstasize his fans and it ended in Shanghai on July 16. Song Joong-ki, it has been reported, thanked his staff members, who were instrumental in making his string of fan meetings across Asia a super hit, with tablets, each costing 1.3 million won, approximately $1,140.
Soompi reported that after the Shanghai fan meeting, Song Joong-ki and his dozens of staff members gathered for a wrap-up party. Those who received Song Joong-ki’s generous gifts include his concert planners, stage directors and security guards. A generous Song Joong-ki ensured that everybody was rewarded. Apart from the tablet computer, he gave away ginseng health products to the security team.
Song Joong-ki met hordes of fans in Seoul, Bangkok, Beijing, Wuhan, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Chengdu, Taipei and Shanghai. All of his fan meetings were jam-packed.
