Eun-ji got teary as they were singing “Destiny” from the drama “Phoenix.” Despite the tears, she still perfected the song even with her emotional vocals.
The June 18 episode of KBS’s “Immortal Song” featured veteran singer Lee Seung-chul pairing up with six powerful vocalists. In the episode, MC Shin Dong-yup says at one point, “Lee Seung-chul told me that he fell in love with this singer about three times. Once for her powerful vocals, once for her outstanding looks and once for her kind heart.” To the curious audience, the singer was revealed to be A Pink’s Jung Eun-ji, Soompi reported.
Koogle TV reported that G.O.D’s Son Ho-young was so amazed that he wondered if Eun-ji recently got out of a relationship. AllKpop quoted Ho-young as saying, “I think Eun-ji broke up with someone recently.” H.O.T’s Moon Hee-jun also agreed with his thought and replied, “You can’t express that kind of emotion unless you go through a break-up.” Before the performance, Lee Seung-chul helped soothe a nervous Jung Eun-ji. He also helped her with various details as the senior singer, Soompi reported.
