Innovation is running high at Xiaomi.

Last month, the smartphone maker surprised the world when it introduced the smart rice cooker. This month, the company will launch a drone. According to Techno Buffalo, the drone will cost just $100.

Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun revealed that the drone will make its debut in the next few weeks. The company is working with a third-party manufacturer to create the drone, reported AndroidHeadlines.

The rumored low-budget drone will sport a built-in camera, but tech enthusiasts feel that the product may not be high-end, considering the price point.

Ever since Xiaomi’s first smartphone launch in August 2011, the company has gained market share in mainland China. It has now expanded into developing a wider range of consumer electronics, including smart home appliances powered by Internet of Things (IoT). Last year, Xiaomi launched its Yi Camera which received pretty good reviews.
