Xiaomi’s much-touted drone will be launched in China on Wednesday. The company recently launched a short teaser video clip of the drone.
According to the video clip, the gadget is all white. It has four balancing legs, with the camera mounted in the middle.
Sources earlier said that the new drone will cost just $100. However, the company has not confirmed this.
Xiaomi has been working with a third-party manufacturer to create the drone.
Last week, on its official MIUI forum page, Xiaomi had put up two pictures, hinting the launch of a new flying gadget. One photograph showed a state-of-the-art black chopper-like device that sported a big orb-shaped camera and propellers. The other showed a bamboo copter, a traditional Chinese toy that kids used to play with.
The company recently launched a drone app. According to the specs, the drone is expected to have a built-in camera and shoot 4K videos at 30fps.
