In 2011, Victoria’s Secret runway model Sui He was propelled into international prominence for being the first East Asian model to open a runway show for Ralph Lauren. She became the second model of Chinese descent after Liu Wen to walk for Victoria’s Secret.
Born and raised in Zhejiang, China, the 26-year-old stunner began her modeling career at the age of 17, according to a New York Magazine profile.While enrolled in high school, a Chinese modeling contest victory landed her a contract with China Bentley Culture Development Co. in Beijing.
Four years later, Sui made her runway debut in the Spring/Summer 2011 runway season for the “Love, Sex, and Money” runway show. In the Fall/Winter 2011 season, Sui opened for Ralph Lauren and Vivienne Tamin New York. Read More
