Loss of privacy and identity theft are among the issues that celebrities that are as famous as Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo must brace for.
A few weeks back, it emerged that Korean doll Bae Suzy became a victim of identity theft and it is now South Korea’s reigning star Song Joong-ki who’s facing such a sticky situation. A bank book with Suzy’s name and photo was retrieved from a group of criminals in India earlier this month. This week, a fan uploaded a fake marriage certificate, claiming she was married to Song Joong-ki. Not just this, the ‘Descendants of the Sun’ star also experienced an invasion of privacy as a copy of his passport recently got leaked onto Chinese websites.
Yibada noted that the incident not only exposes his personal information but it also makes the most-popular actor vulnerable to identity theft. AllKpop suspected that the document leak could have happened when he arrived in Guangzhou for the May 27 fan meet. Soompi reported that the likely culprit is a custom’s official who handles passports.
Earlier, too, when ‘Descendants of the Sun’ was about to end, the actor decried loss of privacy, when online media exposed details about his personal affairs. A relationship between Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo has been media’s most favoured rumour after the grand success of ‘Descendants of the Sun’ catapulted them to international glory.

Song Joong-ki held a fan meeting in Shenzhen on May 28, when he was asked about his ideal type. Joong-ki revealed that he prefers girls who had long hair than those with short hair. He also admitted that he prefers dating older women who are smaller than him and are innocent looking, Parent Herald reported. Joong-ki also shared that he likes girls who look innocent and who look pretty even while eating. Above all else, a girl with a kind heart is what matters most to him. These above-mentioned traits led fans to believe that Song Joong-ki is referring to his ‘DOTS’ co-star and rumored girlfriend, Song Hye-kyo. It is a known fact that the actress fits the aforementioned traits, which led to speculations that the “Song-Song” or “Kikyo” couple is real.
