Disney characters have gone amok. Recently, a gray-scaled Mickey Mouse dressed in kimono was found walking with a Samurai warrior. Thumper, the adorable bunny,  was striking a pose with Japanese school kids. The sweet and sassy Tinkerbell was hopping merrily on a cherry blossom tree.

These hilariously rare sights were found on Instagram and are the brainchild of John Ramirez, a Disney storyboard artist, who is based in Los Angeles. He has worked in all-time animated favorites like ‘The Lion King,’ ‘Beauty and the Beast’ and ‘Tarzan.’

Some Disney characters even invaded ancient Japanese paintings. While the Big Bad Wolf was chatting up the ladies, Donald Duck, who was enjoying a boat ride, was fanning himself with an ‘uchiwa.’
