This unseen footage shows the moment a sailor in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race discovered the mummified body of a man on the so-called ghost ship. German sailor Manfred Fritz Bajorat was found by the LMAX Exchange crew east of the Philippines aboard a Sayo yacht on January 31. While racing between Australia and Vietnam, one of the crew members swam out and boarded the boat where he made this grim discovery. The crew then notified the US Coast Guard in Guam and the Falmouth Coastguard about the mummified remains, but they were instructed to carry on with their racing as they were of no assistance.
