Amphibious Exercise: US and South Korea hold military drills

The United States and South Korea held a combined Amphibious Exercise in Pohang on Saturday storming simulated North Korean beach defenses amid heightened tension and threats by the North to annihilate its enemies. This video captures the landing and assault drills on South Korea’s east coast that were part of eight weeks of joint exercises between the allies which the South has said are the largest ever. Approximately 12,200 US military personnel and 4,500 South Koreans took part in the exercise, which formed part of annual joint military drills by Seoul and Washington.
