SENSITIVE: Inside smoke-filled Brussels airport, panic immediately after blast

Hours after the triple bomb blasts that killed over 30 people in the Brussels airport and Metro station and shook Europe drawing response from world leaders, more videos of the explosion and the immediate aftermath have emerged. Just after the explosions at the airport, in this video, passengers are terrified, some of them lying beneath the blast debris and some others running for shelter. After they overcome the shock, the passengers exit the terminal building in hordes.

Meanwhile, the police released surveillance image of three men suspected of carrying out the attack in the airport, two of whom are wearing a black glove on their left hand. It shows three unidentified men pushing trollies with suitcases past Zaventem airport’s check-in area, two of whom are wearing a black glove on their left hand. The grainy pictures have been released by Belgian police as part of their investigation, according to the Belgian news agency Belga and local newspaper La Libre. Two of the men have dark hair, and one of them is wearing a red hat.

The Belgian authorities have shut down all transport networks since the attack, while the country’s Prime Minister Alexandre Michel said: “What we feared has happened.”

The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for attacks on Brussels airport and a rush-hour metro train in the Belgian capital which killed more than 30 people, a news agency affiliated to the group said. More than 200 people were wounded in Tuesday’s bloodshed, which came just four days after the dramatic arrest in Brussels of Salah Abdeslam — the prime suspect in the Paris attacks — after four months on the run
