Infosys techie Raghavendran Ganesan who had been missing since the Brussels blasts last week was confirmed dead late on Monday evening.

Authorities from the Indian embassy at Belgium confirmed the news and the Belgian authorities identified him as one of the victims of the attack. Confirming his death, Manjeev Singh Puri, India’s Ambassador to Belgium and the EU, spoke to the media and offered condolences to his family members. His mortal remains will be handed over to his younger brother, Chandrasekar, and parents Annapoorni and Ganesan C who are in Brussels now. The body was at the Belgium’s military hospital and will be brought to India from Amsterdam. His last phone call was tracked to a Metro rail in the Belgian capital, external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj had said in a tweet earlier.
