Simran Walia is an associate fellow at the Centre for Air Power Studies, pursuing a PhD in Japanese studies under the Centre for East Asian Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University. She has completed an MPhil in Japanese studies from JNU. Her research interests include Japanese politics and foreign policy, Indo-Pacific and East Asian foreign policy.
