رصد موقع نت بلوكس، اليوم الثلاثاء، مرور 65 ساعة على قطع الانترنت بشكل كامل في إيران بعد يومين من الاحتجاجات الشعبية التي انطلقت اعتراضًا على رفع أسعار الوقود.
وقال مرصد الانترنت إن قدرة الإيرانيين على التواصل مع العالم الخارجي عبر الانترنت محصورة في نسبة 5 بالمئة فقط.

واعتقلت السلطات الإيرانية العشرات عقب اندلاع مظاهرات شعبية كبيرة يوم الجمعة احتجاجًا على رفع أسعار الوقود.
وقال الرئيس حسن روحاني، الذي اعتبر المظاهرات “انفلاتًا أمنيًا”، إن الدولة لم يكن لديها بديلًا عن قرار رفع الأسعار بسبب “الوضع الاقتصادي الناتج عن العقوبات” الأمريكية التي فرضت على طهران.
ويعاني الاقتصاد الإيراني بسبب العقوبات الاقتصادية التي فرضتها الولايات المتحدة بعد انسحابها من الاتفاق النووي لعام 2015.
وارتفعت نسبة التضخم في إيران لتصل إلى 40 بالمئة بينما تراجع الناتج المحلي الإجمالي بما يتجاوز 9 بالمئة.
وقررت الحكومة رفع أسعار البنزين بنسبة 50 بالمئة لأول 60 لتراً من البنزين لكل شهر و300 بالمئة لكل لتر إضافي كل شهر.
